3/29/2022: Please note that our sanctuary is not accepting new residents due to limited resources. Mahalo for your understanding.

The Hawaii Cat Foundation:

Founded in 1993, we are a nonprofit group who strive for the rescue, safety, and protection of at-risk cats and kittens. We mainly do this by 1) maintaining a cat sanctuary, and 2) our foster/adoption program.

Once a cat has been rescued through our established network, we place them into foster homes for assessment, nurturing, and a healthy regimen of quality food, socialization, and basic medical treatments.
When healthy and ready for adoption, our precious felines are neutered/spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Only after all prerequisites are completed, the cats are then available for adoption to potential families who have completed an adoption application either in person at an adoption event, or by email. The Hawaii Cat Foundation continues to care for the cats in various foster homes until they are adopted to a safe and loving home with their forever families.

Adopt me!

Picture

Nalo - female tabby.

Unbelievably loving, Nalo will run up to you, climb on your shoulder and purr like a V8 while giving you LOTS of rubs and head-bunts!

Mavro is an 8 year-old male love-bug!

Mavro gets along with other cats and is one of the softest and sweetest souls you will ever come across. For some reason, he has a neurological condition which means he cannot guage heights and jumping well, so he must be in a home where he can be down on the floor as much as possible.

Sunset is an orange and white, adult male

Very affectionate and loving, Sunset would make a great addition to a loving, forever home!

Ranger is a ginger, adult male.

Very loving, Ranger is a little bit on the tubby side and could do with some portion control to lose a pound or two. He is very appreciative on neck scratches and patting of any kind. A very mellow marshmellow!

Mushu is an adult, ginger male.

And at around 11 years old, what a ball of pure love this guy is! This guy is a head-bunter, nose-kisser, leg-rubber and V8 purrer extraordinaire! He gets on very well with other cats and would make an amazingly loving addition to a great Forever Home :)
